Edward J. Bolich, age 91, a former resident of 208 East First Street in Ridgeville, Indiana, died early Sunday morning, March 16, 2008 at the Persimmon Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation in Portland, IN
He was a retired truck driver for Colonial Bread and Riggins Dairy, both of Muncie, Indiana. Edward J. Bolich was born July 23, 1916 in Ann Arbor, Michigan the son of Frank and Mable (Rhodes) Bolich. He graduated from Central High School in Muncie, Indiana with the Class of 1934. He served with the U. S. Army during WW II. He was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church of Ridgeville, Indiana.
Edward J. Bolich was married November 11, 1945 to Elizabeth Ann Rausch. She died May 29, 1998. He is survived by: 2 sons: Michael F. Bolich- Moore, Oklahoma Thomas B. Bolich- Ridgeville, Indiana 2 daughters: Beverly A. Ward- Portland, Indiana Rebecca L. Ward- Lynn, Indiana 15 grandchildren 23 great-grandchildren 1 great grandson He was preceded in death by one son: Joseph Bolich, who died February 28, 1999.
Funeral services for Edward J. Bolich were held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Portland Chapel of the Williamson & Spencer Funeral Home. Rev. Rogers Durham officiated and burial followed in the Lawndale Cemetery, east of Ridgeville, Indiana.
