Treva E. Sutton, age 81, a resident of Arbor Trace Assisted Living in Richmond, died Thursday, May 22, 2008, at Arbor Trace. She was a former resident of Jackson Township, Jay County, Indiana and Williamsburg, Indiana.
Treva is the wife of Reverend Robert L. Sutton, who is a former minister of Union Chapel Church, west of Bryant. Treva was a member of the Evangelical Methodist Church.
Treva was born on December 13, 1926, in Blackford County, Indiana, the daughter of Ross and Hannah (Vick) Teegarden. She graduated from Stony Creek High School in Randolph County with the class of 1945. Treva married Robert L. Sutton on February 15, 1947.

2 sons: Wayne A. Sutton (wife Sandy) – Mobile, Alabama Mark R. Sutton (wife Benita) – Williamsburg, Indiana
6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren
Funeral services for Treva Sutton will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Portland Chapel of the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home with Reverend Floyd B-Hymer officiating. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Twin Hills Cemetery in Pennville, Indiana.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8 p.m. in the Portland Chapel of the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home.
