Rodney was a former employee of Chevrolet in Muncie from 1964 until his retirement in 1982. 

 Rodney Westlake was born on February 14, 1937, in Winchester, Indiana, the son of Rodney H. and Josephine H. (Ward) Westlake.  He graduated from Gray High School with the class of 1955.

 Survivors include:

 1 son:  Douglas W. Westlake – Fort Wayne, Indiana

 3 daughters:  Tamara Mangas (husband Chris) – Winchester, Indiana
             Teresa “Terry”  Westlake – Elwood, Indiana
             Amy Alper (husband Altar) – Decatur, Indiana

 2 sisters:  Jean Ann Strahan (husband Robert) – Muncie, Indiana
       Marsha Yadon (husband Bill) – Upland, Indiana

 3 brothers:  Timothy Westlake (wife Vicky) – Dunkirk, Indiana
          Greg “Craig” Westlake – Ridgeville, Indiana
          Jeff Westlake – Connersville, Indiana

 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren

 He was preceded in death by a brother, George Arthur Westlake.

 Funeral services for Rodney Westlake will be held on Sunday at 5 p.m. in the Portland Chapel of the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Ward officiating.  Burial of the cremains will take place at a later date.

 Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3-5 p.m. before the service in the Portland Chapel of the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home.
