Our Portland Chapel is located one block west of Meridian Street (Highway 27) in Portland. It is full of many unique antiques as you can see in the photos below. We recieve countless comments on how the antique furniture make the funeral home feel more like a home. We take pride in our Portland location because this is where our funeral home has been located for over 100 years. It has undergone many transformations to meet the needs of people in Jay County.

Our Family Room is a quiet get-away dedicated to providing family members with a comfortable place to retreat. The family is invited to bring food into our facility during the vistation hours and we provide the soft-drinks and serving utensils free of charge.
