Kyle S. SmithAge 35, a resident of rural Portland, IN, died of injuries he suffered in an automobile accident early this Thursday morning on Balbec Road West of Highway #1. He was employed by Custom Graphix of Millville, PA. He graduated from Jay County High School with the Class of 1991. He was a member of the Union Chapel Church of Bryant, IN. Kyle S. Smith was born March 1, 1973 in Bluffton, IN the son of Mack A. & Diana L. (James) Smith. He is survived by:
Funeral services for Kyle S. Smith will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Pennville Chapel of the Williamson & Spencer Funeral Home. Pastor Allen Crull will officiate and burial will follow in the IOOF Twin Hills Cemetery in Pennville.

He will be missed. 5. 14-11-2008 17:31 When I first met Kyle He was staying with the Fry's, he was really quiet and shy. it was over the summer, so some of us would use Robin & Jody's pool, Kyle never swam much, he was always in the house, but if we needed something,we just yelled KYLE!!! and he would come to the door to see what we needed, So he earned the name Pool Boy, And Bless him, He never comlpained once. Since that summer I have had the fortune of working at Custom Graphix with Kyle, I will always remember his Smile, to me he will always be Pool Boy. He will be remembered fondly.
