Alberta Arlena Martin, 88 of Pennville, Indiana passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Alberta was born on April 6, 1921 in Plank Clift, Kentucky the daughter of Cater and Mary (Mills) Worley. She married Raymond Stephens in 1938 and then she married Kenneth Martin in 1971. She was preceded in death by 5 Children, 3 grandchildren, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by: 8 Sons: Linard C. (wife Diana) Stephens – Eaton, Indiana, Lindle L. (wife Judy) Stephens – Nottingham, Indiana, Linvil Ray Stephens – Nottingham, Indiana, Limurle Chuck Stephens – Pine Knot, Kentucky, Leamon E. (wife Patty) Stephens – Portland, Indiana, Larry W. (companion Kathy) Stephens – Ridgeville, Indiana, Lonnie K. (wife Donna) Stephens – Hartford City, Indiana, Link A. (wife Donna) Stephens – Dunkirk, Indiana, 2 Daughters: Leoma (husband Allen) Leffingwell – Hartford City, Indiana, Nona (wife Howard) Fisher – Trenton, Indiana, 29 Grandchilren, 68 Great Grandchildren, 24 Great-Great Grandchildren. Funeral services for Alberta Martin will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Pennville Chapel of the Williamson and Spencer Funeral with Rev. Steve Sutton officiating. Burial will follow in the Stahl Cemetery in North of Petroleum, Indiana. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10-1 p.m in the Pennville Chapel of the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home.
