 Lafayette B. Smith, Jr., age 62, a former resident of rural Geneva, passed away on Monday at University Nursing Home in Upland, Indiana.
Lafayette was born on July 17, 1947 in Keffer County, Kentucky, the son of Lafayette B. Smith, Sr. and Thaddora (Alberson) Smith. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors include: 4 sisters: Viola J. Sells – Ridgeville, Indiana Lena L. Lycan – Anderson, Indiana Lois A. Arnold – Muncie, Indiana Janice E. Mackey – Geneva, Indiana 3 brothers: Bruce A. Thomas – Muncie, Indiana Harry L. Thomas - Muncie, Indiana Harold E. Thomas – Cowan, Indiana There will be no visitation or funeral services for Lafayette Smith.
