Funeral Services for Richard A. Todd

Richard A. Todd, 69 of Fort Recovery, Ohio passed away on Monday morning, September 07, 2009 in Coldwater, Ohio following an extended illness. Richard was born on January 28, 1940 in Windsor, North Carolina the son of Francis and Mary (Thomas) Todd. He graduated from the Windsor High School. Richard belonged to the Fort Recovery United Methodist Church. He played pool on several leagues and also played in the Nationals in Las Vegas. Richard married Nancy Kreider on September 10, 1961 and then she passed away in 1975. Richard married Joyce Lantz in November of 1976. Richard is survived by: His Wife: Joyce Todd – Fort Recovery, OH His Son: Christopher Todd (wife Lisa) – Columbus, OH His Daughters: Kimberly A. Strohl (husband Michael) – Fort Recovery, OH Lori L. Atkins (husband Roger) – Rockbridge, OH His Sisters: Mary Frances Phelps – Windsor, NC Jane Jamerson (husband Thomas) – Portage, IN His Eight Grandchildren A visitation for Richard Todd will be 4 – 7 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2009 at the Portland Chapel of the Williamson & Spencer Funeral Home. A Memorial Service for Richard Todd will follow the visitation at the funeral home on Friday at 7:00 p.m.

Memorial donations may be directed toward State of the Heart Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent at www.williamsonspencer.com

My condolences to the family. I loved this man like a farther. He made me feel like a part of the family and he will be dearly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with my extended family!

Joy, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I know you was ready to see the suffering end but I know we are never really ready to lose a loved one. There is one more "Handsome" man in heaven.
I am so glad I got to meet both of you.May god help you through this difficult times.
