Phillip Roger Atkinson, 72, of Dunkirk, Indiana passed away on Sunday morning, December 13, 2009 at his residence following an extended illness.Phillip was born on May 30, 1937 in Portland, Indiana the son of Erple and Irene (Hampshire) Atkinson.He retired after working over 16 years for the Street & Water Department in the City of Dunkirk.Phillip married Margie Blankinship in 1962.She preceded him in death on February 16, 1987.Survivors include:His Son:Kenneth A. Cemetery
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 from 3-7 p.m. prior to the service in the Portland Chapel of the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home.
