Margaret Stump, 87, of rural Fort Recovery, Ohio passed away on Friday morning, December 25, 2009 at the Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana.
Margaret was born on October 14, 1922 in Muncie, Indiana the daughter of Orville and Myrtle (Halstead) Teague. Margaret was a former employee of Westinghouse and a member of the Word of Life Worship Center in Union City, Ohio. She married Donald D. Stump on September 4, 1937 and he preceded her in death on May 2, 1991. She is survived by: Three Daughters: Judith Briner (husband Robert) – Fort Recovery, OH Karen Sue Brock– Union City, OH Sherri Kaffenberger (husband Robert) – Greenville, OH Fifteen Grandchildren Twenty Seven Great-Grandchildren Three Great Great-Grandchildren Two Sister-in-Laws: Helen Teague – Muncie, IN Emma Warnock, Sandusky, OH Services for Margaret will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 11:00 am from the Word of Life Worship Center, 1395 Ellis Road, Union City, Ohio. Pastor George Hughes will officiate the service with burial to follow at the Salamonia Cemetery, Salamonia, Indiana. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 from 3-7 pm at the Williamson & Spencer Funeral Home, Portland Chapel and also one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial may be directed towards the Work of Life Fellowship Memorial Fund or the Darke County Cancer Society, envelopes will be provided by the funeral home.
