Kathy Jo Wardlow, age 56, a former resident of Lynn, Indiana and a resident of Fort Recovery, Ohio died unexpectedly at the Reid Memorial Hospital in Richmond, Indiana
Kathy was born on November 9, 1953, in Randolph County, Indiana, the daughter of Eugene and Helen (Schroy) Miller. She formerly worked at York Casket Company in Lynn and JM Hutton Stamping until her retirement. She married Robert Wardlow on May 25, 1974. Survivors include: Her husband of 36 years: Robert Wardlow – Fort Recovery, Ohio, 2 daughters: Angela Burkett (husband Keith) – Portland, Indiana, Lori Bailey (husband Mike) – Fort Recovery, Ohio, 6 brothers and sisters: Bob Hall (wife Zelma) – Gilmer, Texas, Judy Lankford – Modoc, Indiana, Jan Gard – Parker City, Indiana, Richard Miller (wife Leanna) – Cottontown, Tennessee, Deb Clock (husband Ron) – Leavensworth, Kansas, Linda Flaugh (husband Ivan) – Lynn, Indiana and 5 grandchildren. Visitation for Kathy Wardlow will be held on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. in the Portland Chapel of the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home. Funeral services for Kathy Wardlow will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Portland Chapel of the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home. My husband always called her "Norman", a joke he had played on her years ago, she always got a laugh out of that. My dad, Acie Gambrel also worked with her at Hutton for years.
