Joseph D. Theurer, 65, a resident of Ridgeville, Indiana passed away on Sunday morning, January 10, 2010 at the Pine Knoll Rehabilitation Center in Winchester, Indiana.
Joseph was born on March 15, 1944 in Portland, Indiana the son of Norman and Helen (Armantrout) Theurer. Joe graduated from Madison Township High School in 1962 and spent most of his life farming in the Madison township area. He also worked at Loys Sale Barn and helped with the auctions for many years. He is survived by: Two Brothers: John Theurer – rural Portland, Indiana Judson Theurer(wife Donna) – Gaston, South Carolina His Sister: Janice Calhoun – Portland, Indiana Several nieces and nephews A Funeral Service for Joseph Theurer will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at the Williamson & Spencer Funeral Home, Portland Chapel at 10:30 AM. Pastor Mark Streitelmeir will be officiating the service with burial to follow at the Salamonia Cemetery, Salamonia, Indiana A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 from 3-6 PM at the Portland Chapel of the Williamson & Spencer Funeral Home.
