Billy Ray Morgan

Billy Ray Morgan, Sr., age 60, a resident of Portland, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017 at Persimmon Ridge in Portland.  He was a former resident of Beattyville, Kentucky. 

     Billy was born on February 14, 1956, in Lee County, Kentucky, the son of Harold and Peggy (Moore) Morgan.  He worked as a self-employed handyman in the Portland area.

     Survivors include: 

     1 son:  Billy Ray Morgan, Jr. – Orlando, Florida

     3 daughters:  Melissa Morgan – Orlando, Florida

                           Amber Ray Newton – Portland, Indiana

                           Ashley Hare – Portland, Indiana    

     2 brothers:  Harvey Morgan (wife Brenda) – Portland, Indiana

                        Lige Morgan – Portland, Indiana

     1 sister:  Naomi Morgan – Portland, Indiana

     ½ sister:  Debbie Reece (husband Danny) – McKee, Kentucky

     Several grandchildren

            A memorial service will be held at a later date in Kentucky. 

            Arrangements handled by Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
