Carla was always a smiling face at the rabbit shows growing up in the hobby. She was always willing to take the time to talk to exhibitors & give them words of encouragement. She will be missed by many! Prayers for all in the family ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’•

Carla will always be to me that fun high school classmate. Lovely smile and infectious laugh. We had such good times together. The giggles remained when I last saw her in 2000 or 2001 with Sharon and Bonnie. Her time as a youth in Ethiopia made her life very exotic to me but her heart was won over by Indiana. Miss you always, my friend

To the greatest aunt and my favorite aunt who always knew how to make someone smile. Your laughter and smile will always be your trademark that will be left behind on all who knew and loved you. Thank you for the summers of memories spent on the farm with your horses and rabbits, but most of all thank you for being the best aunt anyone could ever have. We love you and you will be missed. God bless.

Tom & i thought about Carla often. We miss her at shows. We even commented that we had hoped she would be at the latest show for the Youth at Muncie. She was so good with the kids. You could tell how much she enjoyed it by the way she lights up when they would ask her a question. Will never forget her smile & laugh. If you were not in the best of mood, her laugh would get you out of it. She helped Tom so much thru the years. She was a good friend. Love you Carla, Tom & sandy Berger

Condolences to Larry and the family. Carla was a kind, caring, and generous rabbit friend. Her smile and laughter will be missed. We shared many wonderful laughs and great times at rabbit shows, Holland Lop Nationals, and Convention. She was generous and so kind to new comers with explaining and sharing her animals with them. Carla .. you are missed. Your smile and laughter are making Heaven a warmer and kinder place.

Carla was a wonderful gal. We knew her from the ARBA rabbit shows. She loved the youth, and was especially kind to our daughter, Taylor. She called her "one of MY kids", and we loved her for that. She was fun, smart, and always a hoot to be around. We will miss her greatly. She was one of a kind. Love you, Carla.

I am so sad to hear that Carla passed away. She was a wonderful lady who encouraged me to become a 4-H leader and to continue her work with the Delaware County 4-H kids. She was always smiling, laughing, making jokes, encouraging others. She will definitely be missed!

Larry and Family -
Our deepest condolences on the loss of Carla, she was an amazingly kind soul who had a positive impact on all of us whom she encountered on her journey. Find peace in knowing that she touched many people with her kindness and compassion. Dwayne and I have many fond memories of the rabbit shows that she helped organize in Indiana, and of our interactions with Carla at so many rabbit shows across the country. Her laugh, smile, and enthusiasm will be missed by all who knew her.

I had so hoped when I agreed to judge the Pennville Fair yesterday that I would get a visit from Larry & Carla. I have so many found memories of Carla over the years from showing and breeding Holland Lops, to hosting Holland Lop Nationals several times. I shared at the show yesterday that when I decided to take the next step and become a ARBA Judge, the Pennville Fair was the first show I judged as a Registrar. After I received my license I we took a few trips together to judge in OK and NE. Such a great lady, always a smile on her face and always a positive attitude. Rest In Peace my Friend
