I will miss his laugh as he walked into everyplace he went. His blue eyes sparkled mischief all the time. He had never met a stranger and he was and is one of a kind. I am so sorry for your loss. And the ache in your heart will heal but slowly. Always remember the good times and say " hey you remember that one time" and laugh. My heart and thoughts go out to you. God Bless

I am so so sorry upur expeirencing this pain amd i know so much about it when i lost my son who was a friend of Derrek. Brandon Hilbert. Derrek and i had alot of small talks after brandons death amd o feel he truely was searching for happinesd in thod world of tears amd fears. My prayerd are with all of you and mau he now RIP
