Cathy and family. My deepest apologies to the family for not being able to get to be with you at the hour of your mother's death. I did not get your message that you desired my presence when she was about to leave, until Wednesday evening. I went down Wednesday about 5 to see her on my usual calling at the Nursing Home. I also have been very ill with a fever, and bronchitis. Please know that my heart breaks that I didn't receive your message in time. You have made a wonderful choice in Dave McClellan to officiate. My prayers are with you all. .......
