 Margaret Gallets, age 80, a resident of Portland, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at her home in Portland. She was a homemaker and attended the Gospel Lighthouse in Portland.

     Margaret Gallets was born May 20, 1937 in Parker City, Indiana the daughter of Herman Dolan and Clara (Taylor) Price.  She was married on April 15, 1966 to Harold Gallets.

Survivors Include:

Her beloved husband- Harold Gallets, Portland, Indiana

3 sons- David Lothridge (wife-Diane), Bellview, Nebraska

            Jim Lothridge (wife-Helen), Union City, Indiana

            Steven Lothridge (wife-Pam), Portland, Indiana

6 Daughters- Deborah Denney (husband-Charles), Portland, Indiana

                      Peggy Thomas, Muncie, Indiana

                      Patty Baker (husband-Jimmie), Harrodsburg, Kentucky

                      Tina Twigg  (husband-Paul), Portland, Indiana

                      Maxine Gallets, Portland, Indiana

                      Jennifer Gallets, Muncie, Indiana

28 Grandchildren, 45 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren

Preceded in death by 2 sons- Richard and Russell Lothridge and a grandson- Travis Lothridge

     Visitation will be held from 1-5pm on Sunday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.

     Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am Monday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.  Rev. Phil Jellison will officiate the services and burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery southeast of Portland.

Memorials may be directed to the funeral home to assist in final expenses.
