Sincerest condolences to the family, we have all lost a very bright light in our lives. I believe it was impossible for anyone to meet cousin Terry and not be touched by his honest, sincere heart that was on fire for Jesus. I will never forget our discussions on various bible passages and just the love that he always made me feel. I am so happy that I was able to attend the JCHS revival services and see first hand how loved Terry was by the people of Jay County, he will be greatly missed by the community but most of all by our family. Love you Terry, enjoy those streets of gold.

We offer empathy and kindness to Pastor Terry Bye's family. Myself and Suzanne enjoyed our visits with Pastor Terry, Erwin Bailey, and Church members during our fellowship on Sunday mornings. Pastor Terry always told me that our greatest hope comes from trusting God, now Pastor Terry has found perfect peace because of his trust in the Lord.

We will always emulate the fine spiritual characteristics of Pastor Terry. Thank you for your compassion, caring, and friendship.

Patty, I really don't think we have met but my heart breaks for you. I have not lost a spouse so I do not know what you are going through. As a Pastors wife I am certain that you know that Pastor Terry is better now and rejoicing with Jesus. And no more pain, no more tears, no more sorrow. You and all of his family and close friends have been and will be in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs

You were not only a soldier for Christ but you are an amazing friend. You and your family were there for my family when our house caught on fire and our mother perished You gave us the hope and strength to help see us through. You were there when our good friend Mike passed as well giving a peace and encouragement, and when days passed by into years later you are still there.. You will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Pastor Bye may God grant you the peace and may he forever shine down on your family as you have so many. May your family find comfort knowing that God has Blessed all who were apart of your life and they gain the strength to go on through you. We have lost you in body but your spirit will be forever in hearts and minds.
God Bless

To all of Terry's family, my sincere heartfelt sympathy for your great loss.Terry was zealous in doing all he could for his Lord.Myself & others will always remember the Jesus marches through town ,ending at the park for singing & preaching! The Jesus rally's & prayer meetings at the JCHS.Terry holding the cross with his church family & others on Good Friday.Him carrying the cross around, warning of the coming judgement,& how much Jesus loves them! He was a great evangelist the likes of which this community hasn't seen for many years! We can be joyful at his going home, but will always be missed.

My heart goes out to all of Terrys family. When I think of Terry I think of" Warrior". He was such a warrior for God doing his best to bring people to know Jesus. And a warrior fighting the fight of all his set backs in his health but he still kept his faith and eyes on Jesus. Now he is not suffering anymore and I know without a do but he will hear those words" well done my faithful servant. Rip Terry. You time on earth was well done!
