Cynthia (Ball) Reed, age 46, a resident of Dunkirk was called home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Lutheran Hospital in Ft.Wayne following an automobile accident. Cynthia was welcomed home at the gates of heaven by her father, Charles Ball, Paternal Grandparents, Ola Ward and James Ball, Maternal Grandparents, Robert and Betty Denney and several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. They were all there to rejoice in Cynthia’s homecoming. Cynthia had worked at Tyson Foods and Jay Randolph Developmental Services, both in Portland.
Cynthia attended Jay County High School where she was a member of the Patriot Color Guard. Cynthia loved spending time with her family and friends and anything to do with the outdoors. Her favorite holiday was the 4th of July and she enjoyed her all day coffee.
Cynthia (Ball) Reed was born February 9, 1973 in Portland, Indiana the daughter of Charles and Donna (Denney) Ball.

2 Sons- James Drayton, Dunkirk, Indiana and Phillip Ball, Redkey, Indiana
Her mother- Donna Denney, Portland, Indiana
2 Sisters- Tammey Knaggs (husband-Robert Curtis), Dunkirk, Indiana and Clara Lothridge, Berne, Indiana
4 Brothers- Daniel Ball, Muncie, Indiana, Charles Ball (wife-Jennifer), Crawfordsville, Florida, David Lothridge Jr. (wife-Tancha), Berne, Indiana, Tony Lothridge (wife-Pattie), Berne, Indiana
Several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 11:00am-1:30pm Monday in the Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral services will follow at 1:30pm at the funeral home. Pastor David Warren will officiate the services and burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery, southeast of Portland.
Memorials may be directed to the funeral home to assist in final expenses.
