Helen St. John Obituary

Helen Joyce St. John, age 84, a former Pennville resident passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019 at River Terrace Retirement Community in Bluffton. She was born April 22, 1934 in Jay County the daughter of Truman and Dorothy (Winget) Shields. Helen graduated from Pennville high School in 1952. She and her husband farmed in Knox Township for many years and was a member of Hickory Grove Church of the Brethren and a former member of Penn 50 Home Economics Club.

       She married Darrell Howard St. John on June 15, 1952.

    Survivors Include:

Her husband- Darrell Howard St. John, Bluffton, Indiana

1 daughter- Connie St. John, Indianapolis, Indiana

2 sons- Randy St. John (wife Donna), Kalamazoo, Michigan

            Jeffrey St. John (wife Charity), Colorado Springs, Colorado

1 sister- Shirley DeHoff (husband Tony), Portland, Indiana

6 grandchildren 3 great-grandchild

     Visitation will be held 9am-11am on Tuesday at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Pennville. Funeral services will follow at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Earl Doll officiating the service. Private burial will follow at I.O.O.F Twin Hills Cemetery in Pennville.
