Jacob Gentry

     Jacob Gentry, age 65 a resident of Winchester and a former Jay County resident passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.  Jacob was a graduate of Madison Twp. High School and was self employed in recycling. 

     Jacob Gentry was born September 16, 1952 in Portland, Indiana the son of Raymond Lee and Janet Louise (Chowning) Gentry Sr.  He was married to Vickie Phillips on September 16, 1973.

Survivors Include:

2 Sons- Jacob Gentry Jr. (wife-Annie), Yorktown, Indiana

             Matt Gentry (wife- Jessica), Portland, Indiana

3 Daughters-  Pam Konkle (husband-Mathew), Chesterfield, Indiana

                       Tina Perry, (husband-David), Manchester, Tennessee           

                        Brandy Gentry (companion- David Smock), Winchester, Indiana

2 Sisters- Alberta Gentry, Salamonia, Indiana

                Roberta Howe, Monroeville, Indiana

16 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren

      A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, June 1, 2018 in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.  Visitation will be held from 2-3pm at the funeral home prior to the services.  Pastor Herb Hummel will officiate the services
