Please accept my deepest condolence. Jim and I were neighbors as young kids in little town of North Salem in Madison Township. We also went to school together, Jim being in the class of ‘67 and me in the class of ‘66. I will always treasure those years of friendship with Jim and his family.

Jim's Family; I was sorry to read about Jim. I remember when I was growing up, what a terrific basketball player he was. I recall he was very competitive and always a gentleman on the court and when I met him in later years on the softball field, found him to be a great guy. So if you were told stories of his glory days with the Madison Tomcats, they are all true.

He was my first principal. K-3 in Edinburgh before my family moved to Taylorsville. I had a bully problem that he took care of the moment he knew about. R.I.P.

I was so sad to hear of Jim's death. It left a hole in my heart. He and I worked very closely together on many projects at Eastside Elementary. On the first day I met him, he told me the reason we are here is for the kids. We agreed on things as often as we disagreed, but even when I sharply disagreed, I never for an instance believed he did not have the children's interest at heart. God bless his children. He touched thousands of lives in his short life.

Amy, Ben and Brandon.
My heart was sad when I heard of Jim's passing. I worked 11 years with him. I enjoyed when you would come in over the summer. After leaving the school he would stop by my house and visit. I had not talked to him for a couple of years. We would pass his house and wave or honk it he was outside. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks Sandy! I loved coming in during the summer and pretending that I was you! I wanted to type and answer phones! I know Dad always spoke highly of you and had a soft spot in his heart for you and all your hard work and friendship!
