Jane Bailey

Bailey, age 71 passed away Friday, September 6, 2019 at her Noble Twp. home in Jay County.  She and her husband farmed in Noble Twp for many years.  She worked at CTS in Berne, and The Commercial Review in Portland.  She was a member of the Noble Busy Bees, and Council President of the Jay County Extension Homemakers Club.  She was a longtime member of the Jay County Conservation Club.

     Jane was born September 29, 1947 in Portland, Indiana the daughter of Ralph and Naomi (Sorbray) Sibery.  She was married to Tom Bailey on November 26, 1966 and he passed away on November 22, 2013.

Survivors Include:

1 Son- Brian Bailey (wife-Jenni), Portland, Indiana

1 Daugher- Barbara Isenburg (Fiance-Tim McMillan), Dunkirk, Indiana

2 Granddaughters- Ciara and Lexie Bailey

1 Sister- Elsie DeBoy(husband-Richard), Deerfield, Indiana

2 Brothers- Robert Sibery (wife-Jeanette), Union City, Indiana

                      James Sibery, Indianapolis, Indiana

     Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00pm Monday in the Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral home in Portland.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Tuesday at the funeral home.  Pastor Darrell Borders will officiate the services and burial will follow in the Salamonia Cemetery.
