Jessie Paulette Evans

Jessie Paulette Evans, age 70, a resident of Portland, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at her home.

Paulette was born March 23, 1949 in Hartford City, Indiana the daughter of Paul and Jessie (Morris) Hodge. She retired in 2013 from EPC in Geneva, Indiana after 32 years of service. Paulette was a member of New Victory Life Assembly of God Church in Portland and Portland Moose Lodge.

Survivors Include:

4 sons:  Tracy Arnold – Portland, Indiana

              John Arnold – Portland, Indiana

             Terry “T.J.” Arnold – Portland, Indiana

             Clint Evans – Portland, Indiana

1 daughter:  Misty Vance – New Haven, Indiana 

3 brothers:  Tom Hodge (wife Debbie) – Redkey, Indiana

                    Mark Hodge – Portland, Indiana

                    Bill Hodge – Decatur, Indiana

2 sisters:  Joyce Brinkerhoff (husband Kevin) – Portland, Indiana

                Patricia Cook (husband Greg) – Portland, Indiana

12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren

     Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1-6 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.  Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at a later date in Green Park Cemetery, Portland.
