Larry Cline, age 79, a resident of rural Dunkirk, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.
Larry was born on February 25, 1938, in Jay County, the son of John Delbert “Pete” Cline and Velma Elizabeth (Lovell) Cline. He graduated from Dunkirk High School in 1956 and earned an HVAC Certification from Ivy Tech. He was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church, Pennville I.O.O.F. Lodge, Circle X Riders in Winchester and served as a 4-H Leader in Blackford County. He was a founding member of the Indiana Chariot and Cutter Racing Association. He married Linda (Drew) Lankford on August 1, 1987.

1 step-son: Randy Lee Lankford – Winchester, Indiana
2 step-daughters: Gloria Jean Ward (husband Richard) – Muncie, Indiana
Patricia Hutsell (husband Aaron) – Lafayette, Indiana
1 son-in-law: Tom Wilhelm – Redkey, Indiana

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Louann Wilhelm, 1 brother Carl Cline, 1 sister Phyllis Ann Hart and 2 step-sons, Alton Frederick Lankford and Ronald Joe Lankford
Visitation will be held on Monday from 3-8 p.m. at the Pennville Chapel of the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Pennville Chapel of the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home. Pastor Scott McClain and Pastor Carl Stone will officiate. Burial will follow in the IOOF Twin Hill Cemetery in Pennville.
Memorials may be directed towards the Bethel United Methodist Church or the American Diabetes Association.
