Ruth Brenner

Ruth Brenner, age 79, a resident of Portland passed away Sunday, April 23, 2017 at her home in Portland. She was a custodian at East Jay Middle School for many years.

            Ruth was born February 22, 1938 in Jay County, Indiana the daughter of Oscar and Mary (Garringer) Arnold. She married Jack Brenner on April 26, 1986.

4 Daughters: Beth Ann Evans (husband Terry) – Dunkirk, Indiana

                      Rhonda Henry (husband Mike) – Portland, Indiana

                      Rhonda Feirstein (husband Howard) – Arizona

                      Becky Keen – Arizona

1 Brother: Clyde Arnold (wife Judy) – Hartford City, Indiana

1 Sister: Treva Dotson – Dunkirk, Indiana

26 grandchildren 43 great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by 3 sons David Murphy, Timothy Murphy, Harry Murphy and 1 sister Vada Brenner.

            Private graveside service will be Tuesday at Bluff Point Cemetery, South of Portland. Pastor Mitch will officiate the service.
