Thomas Rose Obituary

Thomas Rose, age 82 a resident of Portland passed away Sunday, June 2, 2019 at IU Health Jay Hospital in Portland. Thomas earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from University of Arizona-Tucson. He was a teacher for several years at Amphitheater High School in Tucson, Arizona and worked at Jay Products in Portland. He enjoyed trivia, playing the guitar and music.

Thomas Rose was born May 16, 1937 in Richmond, Indiana the son of Harold and Ruth Elizabeth (Ludwig) Rose. He was married on April 11, 1989 to Karen Johnson.

Survivors Include:

His beloved wife- Karen Rose, Portland, Indiana

2 Daughters- Michelle Frazee (husband- Michael), Portland, Indiana

Erin Rose, Elkhart, Indiana

1 Brother- Stan Rose (wife-Bev), Missoula, Montana

2 Grandsons

There will be no services.

He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Rose and a sister, Jane Ricker.
