Chris Limbert

Chris Limbert, age 63 a resident of rural Portland passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at IU Health Jay Hospital.  He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Portland.  He worked for Portland Forge for 28 years and retired in 2012 from FCC in Portland.  He enjoyed attending gun shows and auctions, as well as building RC airplanes for many years.

Chris Limbert was born March 25, 1956 in Portland, Indiana the son of Bob and Betty (Delauter) Limbert,  He was married on July 14, 1975 to Carol Lanning.

Survivors Include:

His beloved wife of 44 years- Carol Limbert, Portland, Indiana

1 Son- Mark Limbert (wife-Chrissy), Portland, Indiana

1 Sister- Nancy Rupe, Portland, Indiana

4 Grandchildren and 1 Great Granddaughter

He was preceded in death by a son, Mike Limbert and brothers, Larry and Jeff Limbert, and his parents Bob and Betty Limbert.

Visitation will be held from 1-5pm on Sunday in the Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.  Funeral services will be at 11:00am on Monday at the funeral home.  Pastor Hugh Kelly will officiate the services and burial will follow in the Green Park Cemetery in Portland.
