Gary Mckibben

Gary McKibben, age 77, a resident of Geneva, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at his home in Geneva.

Gary was born March 16, 1947, in Portland, Indiana, the son of Robert and Evelyn (French) McKibben.  He owned several different auto dealerships in the area and owned and operated The Shop in Geneva.  Gary enjoyed drag racing and was a member of NHRA and IHRA.

Shane McKibben (wife Julie) – Loveland, Ohio

Austin McKibben – Linn Grove, Indiana

Lexie McKibben (fiancé Jacob Myers) – Linn Grove, Indiana

1 brother:  Duane McKibben – Portland, Indiana

Grandchildren:  Dillon, Kyle, Katie, Zack, Nancy Taylor and Boston

Several great-grandchildren

He was preceded in death by 2 children, Chris and Jolanda McKibben.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 7 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.  Services to celebrate Gary’s life will follow at 8 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
