Patricia (Vanderbur) Stant

Patricia Stant, age 68, a resident of Portland, passed away Saturday September 24, 2022 at her home in Portland.

Patricia was born March 16, 1954 in Portland, Indiana the daughter of Galen and Mildred (Ward) Vanderbur. Patricia worked at Indiana Glass in Dunkirk and at the Jay County Retirement Center. Patricia married Paul Stant on May 21, 2005 he passed away on October 28, 2020.

Survivors Include:

2 sons: Patrick Wells (wife Melissa) – Portland, Indiana

Brad Wells – Portland, Indiana

1 daughter: Stacy Richardson (husband Robert) – Pennville, Indiana

Step-son:  Christopher Stant – Lebanon, Kentucky

2 sisters: Karen Wellman (husband Kenneth) – Portland, Indiana

Melissa Franks (husband Curtis) – Portland, Indiana

6 grandchildren 2 great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by a brother Steven Allan Vanderbur

Visitation will be held Thursday from 12-4 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral services will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 4 p.m.

Memorials may be directed to the Jay County Cancer Society or to the family in care of the funeral home.
