Allen W. Ridgway, 55, of Michigan City, passed away Friday, May 24, 2013 at home. He was born August 23, 1957 in Bluffton, Indiana to Vaughn Emery and Lettie Marie (Miller) Ridgway.
Allen is survived by his children Heather (Michael) Wilson and Eric (Monaka) Ridgway, both of St. Mary, Ohio, seven grandchildren, his sister Mary Howard of LaPorte and his brother Keith Ridgway of Batesville, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Allen was a truck driver for Bowling Transportation, formerly worked at the Westville Correctional Center, and was a U.S. Air-force veteran.
Funeral services will be 4:00 PM (E.S.T.) Thursday, May 30th at the Williamson & Spencer Funeral Home, 208 N. Commerce St., Portland, Indiana. Visitation will be from 2-4 PM at the funeral home on Thursday. Memorials contributions in memory of Allen can be made to the family.
