Alta M. Geesaman, age 88 a resident of Pennville, Indiana passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Millers Merry Manor, Hartford City, Indiana. She worked for Eli Lilly in Indianapolis, 3M in Hartford City, and retired in 1994 from Caylor Nickel Medical Center in Bluffton.
She was born November 7, 1926 in French Lick, Indiana the daughter of William and Dessie (Ray) Holland. She was married October 21, 1962 to Harley Geesaman and he passed away August 6, 2010.

3 Daughters- Jone Haines (husband-Glen), Pennville, Indiana
Benita Keller (husband- Robert), Portland, Indiana
Diana Stults (husband-Larry), Bryant, Indiana
1 Brother- Robert Holland (wife-Phoebe), Carson City, Nevada
14 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great Great Grandchildren
1 Son preceded her in death- David Geesaman
A Celebration of life service will be held at 11:00am Tuesday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Pastor Mike Morgan will officiate the services and burial will follow in the IOOF Twin Hills Cemetery in Pennville. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10-11am Tuesday prior to the services.
