Andrew W. Betz, age 32, a resident of Portland passed away Friday, October 28, 2016 in a tractor accident in Greene Twp. Jay County. He was a 2002 graduate of Jay County High School. He was an owner operator professional truck driver for the past 11 years. He was a member of the International Harvester Club, Tri State Gas Engine and Tractor Association and the Owner Operator Independent Drivers Association.
Andrew Betz was born November 14, 1983 in Portland, Indiana the son of Gary and Vickie(Sills) Betz.
He was married June 21, 2016 to Jennifer Myers.

2 Sons- Emmett and Bennett Betz, at home
His parents- Gary and Vickie Betz, Portland
1 Sister- Sarah Betz, Portland
Grandparents- Madonna Betz, Portland, and Marvin Sills, Portland
Preceded in death by grandparents- Bazil Betz and Donna Sills
Visitation will be held from 3-7pm Tuesday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Rev. Paul VanCise and Rev. James Rowe will officiate the services and burial will follow in the Center Cemetery west of Portland.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Andrews children, Emmett and Bennett Betz or Riley Hospital for Children.
