Anna Mae Sutton

Anna Mae (Orr) Sutton, age 98, passed away peacefully at her home in Portland on Tuesday afternoon, November 26, 2024.  Anna is survived by two sons, Douglas Sutton, Geneva and Rennie Sutton, Port Orchard, Washington and three grandchildren.

Anna graduated from Bryant High School in 1944.  Anna was the oldest child of Hamor and Ollie Orr, Bryant.  Anna was preceded in death by her parents and brothers William Orr, Joe Orr and sister Mary (Orr) Robledo.

Anna worked in nursing at Jay County Hospital for thirty-two years.  Anna was a Christian and was a member of the former First Baptist Church, Portland, helping with church functions, especially vacation bible school.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024 from 4-7 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.  Anna will be buried at Gravel Hill Cemetery, west of Bryant.
