Barbara A. Meek

Barbara A. Meek, age 77, of Portland passed away Friday, March 1, 2013 at Jay County Hospital. She was a member of the Ladies of the Moose in Portland. She worked at Bluffton Rubber in Wells County for several years. She enjoyed playing cards, fishing, and camping with family and friends.
Barbara Meek was born December 8, 1935 in Portland, Indiana the daughter of Harold and Ruth (Weaver) Stocker.

2 Brothers- Jack Stocker (wife-Norma) Dunkirk, In.
Fred Stocker, (wife- Lynda) Anderson, In.
1 Sister- Janet Beeson (husband-James), Dunkirk, In.
17 Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great Great Grandchildren

Visitation will be held from 1-4pm Saturday at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral services will be held at 4pm Saturday at the funeral home. Pastor Henry Favorite will officiate the service. Burial will take place at a later date at Wells Cemetery, northwest of Portland.
