Barbara J. Platt, age 64, a resident of Portland passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at IU Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. She was a homemaker.
Barbara was born March 11, 1950 in Jay County the daughter of Raymond and Bonnie (Bell) Pavey. She was married on February 11, 1999 to Doug Platt who survives.

3 Sons- Terry Bowdell (companion-Bihl Beckstedt), Indianapolis, In., Raymond Bowdell (wife-Jennifer), Portland In., Chad Bowdell (wife Sabra). Portland, In.
1 Brother- Chuck Pavey (wife-Patty), Peru, In.
5 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandson
A memorial visitation to celebrate the life of Barbara Platt will be held from 2-4pm Monday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
