She owned and operated North side Café in Pennville for many years, then worked and retired from Franklin Electric in Bluffton, Indiana. She was born in Corbin Kentucky on September 15, 1936 to Henry and Clemmie (Walden) Roark. She married Basil F. Harris Jr. on June 2nd, 1957, he preceded her in death on May 18th, 1991.

She married Bob Penrod on November 21, 2004, he preceded her in death in 2021.

In addition to her parents and husbands Bobbie was preceded in death by her two brothers Billy and Jim and her sisters, Effie Felts Short, Genevie Evans, and Sylvia Copeland

Graveside services will be held at a later date at I.O.O.F Twin Hill Cemetery in Pennville, Indiana.  Arrangements by Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.
