Bonnie L. Fisher

Bonnie L. Fisher, age 88, a Portland resident, passed away Monday, September 1, 2014 at Persimmon Ridge Rehabilitation Center, Portland. She was a 1944 graduate of Eaton High School. She worked as a cook at IP Gray School and Jay County High School. She also worked at CTS in Berne and Jay Products in Portland. She attended Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church.
She was born September 9, 1925 in Jay County the daughter of Ralph and Beatrice (Drayer) Hall. She was married December 20, 1945 to Lawrence Fisher who passed away November 3, 1988.

2 Daughters- Linda Grider (husband-Butch), Portland, Indiana
Patricia Smith (husband-Jack), Marion, Ohio
1 Sister- Marjorie Mitchell (husband-Charles), Elk Grove Village, Illinois
7 Grandsons, 12 Great Grandchildren, 9 Great Great Grandchildren and several Step Grandchildren

She was a preceded in death by 2 sons- Doug and Kenneth Fisher, 1 Daughter- Carol Jean Sommers, 4 Brothers- Robert, Clair, William, and Larry Hall, 1 Sister- Ruth McClain, 1 Granddaughter- Lisa Hanks
Visitation will be held from Noon -2pm on Thursday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Thursday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Pastor Hugh Kelly will officiate the services and burial will follow in the Green Park Cemetery in Portland.
