Brenda L. Baynes-Mourant, age 32, a resident of Portland, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at her mother’s home in Decatur following an extended illness.
Brenda was born on July 24, 1982, in Fontana, California, the daughter of David and Linda (Ball ) Baynes.

Cheryl Smiley (husband Jason) – Portland, Indiana
Davene Steen (husband Brad) – Portland, Indiana
Several nieces and nephews and 1 great nephew

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ali White.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland with Flint Redwine officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
