Brenda France

Brenda France, age 55, a resident of rural Ridgeville, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2026 at IU Health Jay Hospital in Portland.

Brenda was born December 4, 1970, the daughter of Robert L. and Patsy (Caylor) France. She graduated from Jay County High School in 1989 and worked for Priority Plastics in Portland.

Her children: Cole France – Ridgeville, Indiana

Megan France – Ridgeville, Indiana

1 brother: Troy France (wife Chanin) – Ridgeville, Indiana

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Patsy France.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 12 – 2 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Reitenour Cemetery, east of Ridgeville.
