Carl Austin

Carl Austin Jr., age 67, a resident of Ridgeville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at his home.

Carl was born March 20, 1958 in Franklin County, Indiana the son of Carl Austin Sr. and Mary Eva (Guffey) Austin-Dotson.

Survivors include:

4 sons: John Taylor – Pennville, Indiana

Cody Austin – Ridgeville, Indiana

Brandon Austin (wife Kaley) – Portland, Indiana

Cory Austin (wife Lexie) – Portland, Indiana

2 daughters: Jessica Stevens – Waycross, Georgia

Carla Harnage (husband David Shane) – Waycross, Georgia

Brother: Wayne Dotson – New Castle, Indiana

2 sisters: Marsha LeMaster – Portland, Indiana

Connie Huey (husband Richard) – North Carolina

Grandchildren: Stanley, Zoey, Haley, Josie, Lane, Rhett, Coraline

He was preceded in death by 2 sons Carl Edward Austin, and Carl Austin Jr. and a nephew Dustin Dotson.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday at 10 a.m. at Antioch Cemetery, southeast of Portland.
