Carole Wolfe

Carole Wolfe, age 73, a resident of Winchester and a former resident of Jay County and Paragon, Indiana, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. Carole was born August 23, 1946 in Portland, Indiana the daughter of Willis Jack Nichols and Betty (Bye) Sutton. She was a health care aide for many years in local nursing homes. Carole married Larry Wolfe he passed away in 2014. Survivors include: Her Mother: Betty Sutton – Winchester, Indiana 2 sons: Shawn Copeland (wife Becky) – Hartford City, Indiana William Edward Copeland Jr. – Paducah, Kentucky 3 sisters: Kay Harris – Portland, Indiana Naomi Shores (husband Todd) – Winchester, Indiana Rose Anne Lanning – Winchester, Indiana 1 brother: Tommy Sutton – Indianapolis, Indiana 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren She was proceeded in death by her father, Willis Jack Nichols, her step-father, Robert Sutton and a brother Eddy Nichols. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4 p.m.- 7 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral home in Portland. Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Coleman Smith will officiate the service and burial will follow at Little Salamonia Cemetery, south east of Portland. Memorials may be directed to Harrisville Youth Group.
