Cheryl Smiley

Cheryl Smiley, age 45, a resident of Portland, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at her sisters home in Pennville.

Cheryl was born January 14, 1976 in Bellflower, California, the daughter of David Baynes and Linda (Ball) Horine. She married Jason Smiley on May 10, 2005.

Survivors include: her husband: Jason Smiley – Portland, Indiana

2 daughters: Amy Jo Ford (husband Marcus) – Portland, Indiana

Samantha Damron – New Castle, Indiana

1 son: David Smiley – Portland, Indiana

2 sisters: Tina Lessing (husband Duane) – Portland, Indiana

Davene Steen (husband Brad) – Pennville, Indiana

2 grandchildren:  Anthony and Elizabeth Ford

She was preceded in death by 2 sisters Brenda Mourant and Linda Guntle and a grandson; Matthew Theurer.

Visitation will be held Wednesday August 11, 2021 from 12pm-6pm at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Services to celebrate Cheryl’s life will follow at 6pm at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed towards the family in care of Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home.
