Clara Jane Shaneyfelt

Clara Jane Shaneyfelt, age 77, a resident of Muncie, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hosptial in Muncie. She was a former Ridgeville, Indiana resident.

Clara was born on January 24, 1936, in Ridgeville, Indiana, the daughter of Roy and Ethel (Michael) Shaneyfelt. Clara was 1 of 6 girls and 5 boys. Clara worked for Anchor Hocking for 35 years, retiring in 1992. She was a member of the Anchor Hocking Sympathy Club. She loved watching The Game Show Netowrk, Cincinnati Reds, Indiana Pacers and Playing Bingo.

1 daughter: Susie Mikulski (companion Jim Turley) - Muncie, Indiana

2 sisters: Bonita Watkins - Muncie, Indiana
Myrtle Osborne - Tucson, Arizona

1 brother: John Shaneyfelt (wife Lucy) - Bronson, Michigan

1 grandson: Tyler Hall (companion Jamie Sewaringen)

2 great granddaughters: Hailey and Savannah Hall

1 step-grandson: Jake Turley (companion Tabitha Kennedy)

2 step-great grandsons: Damion and Kash Turley

1 step great granddaughter: Isabella Turley

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters Ruby, Mary and Martha Shaneyfelt, 4 brothers, Thurman, Charles, Roy Jr. and Dennis Shaneyfelt.

Visitation will be held on Saturday from 1 - 4 p.m. at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Rex Collins officiating.
