Clarence Shawver, age 73 a Portland resident passed away Sunday, July 10, 2016 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. He retired from Portland Forge and was a member of the Tri State gas engine and tractor association.
Clarence Shawver was born July 23, 1942 in Portland, Indiana the son of Basil and Helen (Garber) Shawver. He was married to Linda Seaton and she passed away in 1990.
Survivors Include:
2 Nephews- Todd Shawver, New Pittsburg, Indiana
Aaron Shawver, Ridgeville, Indiana
His caretaker- John Dick, Salamonia, Indiana
Visitation will be held from 4-7pm on Tuesday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral Services will be held at 11am Wednesday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Harris officiating the service. Burial will follow in the Salamonia Cemetery.
