Connie E. Howell

Connie E. Howell, age 70 a resident of Portland passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at her home.

Connie was born December 11, 1948 in Portland the daughter of Charles and Rosalie (Merry) McAfee. She was a graduate of Portland high school in 1967 she then married Herbert Howell on December 30, 1976 he passed away on March 26, 2018.

3 sons: Brad Stoner (wife LaCresha) – Bryant, Indiana

David A. Stoner – Portland, Indiana

Robert Howell (wife Amber) – Portland, Indiana

1 daughter: Brenda Howell – Bluffton, Indiana

3 step-sons: Herbert Howell

Nathaniel Howell (wife Gayle) – Pendleton, Indiana

Richard Howell (wife Malinda) – Union City, Ohio

3 step-daughters: Shirley Gruss (husband Dennis) – Portland, Indiana

Rebecca Hudson (husband Waldo) – Portland, Indiana

Beverly Phenis – Portland, Indiana

Mary Emrick (husband Dennis) – Greenville, Ohio

Including several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren

Visitation will be held Sunday from 12-2 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral Service will follow at 2 p.m. on Sunday with Pastor Hugh Kelly officiating the service. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery north east of Portland.
