Cyphia Jean Herriford, age 55, a resident of Berne, Indiana and a former Jay County resident passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Bluffton Regional Medical Center. She had worked at Richards Restaurant in Portland and the Gathering House in Berne.
Cyphia Jean Herriford was born June 6, 1960 in West Liberty, Kentucky the daughter of Ramon and Trixie (Cantrell) Gambill. She was married September 9, 1979 to Gary Herriford and he passed away November 21, 2015.

1 Daughter- Kayla Herriford, Berne, Indiana
Her Mother- Trixie Gambill, Bryant, Indiana
2 Brothers- Jack Gambill (Wife-Malinda), Berne, Indiana
Ladge Gambill (Wife- Cherryl), Portland, Indiana
2 Sisters- Susan Turner, Geneva, Indiana
Debbie Stevens, Bryant, Indiana
3 Grandchildren
Visitation will be held from 10am-2pm on Saturday at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral services will follow at 2pm at the funeral home. Pastor Paul VanCise will officiate the services and burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery, west of Bryant.
