Dale Glen Franks

Dale Glen Franks, age 74, a resident of Portland, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at IU Health Jay County Hospital.

Dale was born April 27, 1947 in Portland, Indiana the son of Orville LeRoy and Clara Lueretia (Corle) Franks. Dale worked at Sheller Globe, NAAS Foods, the City of Portland, and the City of Sebring, he then worked as a truck driver in Michigan. He was also a member of the Portland Moose Lodge. Dale married Sherlyn “Kay” Fultz she passed away in 2005.

Survivors include:

3 sons: Jeff Fultz (wife Sandra) – Sebring, Florida

Dale L. Franks (wife Lori) – Geneva, Indiana

Elvis Franks – Portland, Indiana

3 daughters: Kim Veazie – Adel, Georgia

Marcia Ballard (husband Brad) – Portland, Indiana

Lucy Patrick (husband Bobby) – Ashland, Kentucky

Several grandchildren and great grandchildren

A private service will be held for the family.
