Dallas Doug Taylor

Dallas “Doug” Taylor, age 71, a resident of Redkey, Indiana passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at his home.  He was a graduate of Ridgeville High School and retired in 2006 after 41 years at St. Gobain Glass in Dunkirk.  He was a charter member of the Redkey- Fun for Kids program.

Dallas “Doug” Taylor was born November 10, 1944 in Portland, Indiana the son of Richard and Nova (Thrash) Taylor.  He was married on June 15, 2002 to Terri Lake.

Beloved wife- Terri Taylor, Redkey, Indiana

2 Sons- Dallas Taylor (companion- Chris Connor), Portland, Indiana

Dean Taylor (wife-Becky), Portland, Indiana

1 Daughter- Bobi Jo Sullivan, Portland, Indiana

2 Step Sons- Tim Hough (wife-Lori), Paris, Illinois

Tony Hough (wife-Lisa), Redkey, Indiana

1 Step Daughter- Trisha Stevens (husband-Fred), Anderson, Indiana

1 Brother- Gary Taylor(wife-Sheila), Ridgeville, Indiana

4 Sisters- Pat Taylor, Winchester, Indiana

Melissa Oswald (husband-Paul), Union City, Ohio

Jo Parrot(husband- Frances), Winchester, Indiana

Louise Birum (husband-Mike), Florida

18 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, June 18, 2016 at the Redkey Church of the Nazarene.  Visitation will be from 10am-11am Saturday at the church.  Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery south of Redkey.
