Dave Sewell

Dave Sewell, age 72, a resident of rural Portland, passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2016 at his home in rural Portland.

Dave was born on July 8, 1943, in Parker City, Indiana, the son of Chesley and Nellie (Terry) Sewell.  He graduated from Albany High School and retired from Marsh Supermarkets in 2002 after over 40 years of service.  He was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Portland where he served as a Producer for their television broadcasts for many years.  Dave married Pamela Bailey on January 9, 1993.

1 son:  David Allen Sewell (Carla) – Greenfield, Indiana

2 step-daughters:  Brenda Reed (husband Douglas) – Portland, Indiana

Cindy Craig – Madison Heights, Michigan

1 step-son:  Kevin Craig – Portland, Indiana

2 brothers:  Ernie Sewell (wife DeAnn) – Albany, Indiana

Richard Sewell (wife Sharon) – New Haven, Indiana

2 sisters:  Judy Winchester (husband Jack) – Muncie, Indiana

Jean Durham (husband Jim) – Winchester, Indiana

9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren

Visitation will be held Thursday from 2-6 p.m. at Corner Stone Baptist Church 211 E. Main St., Portland. Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. at the Corner Stone Baptist Church with Pastor Wayne Ward officiating the service.

Memorials may be directed towards The Cornerstone Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the Church.
